Yesterday was unseasonable cold and very windy, which made the perfect day for a pow wow! It's been hovering around 100 degrees for the past few weeks here so we welcomed the cooler air.
Many tribes participated in the festivities coming from as far as the Blackfoot tribe from Montana! Joshua couldn't sit still and ran out in the dance circle countless times. He wasn't quite dressed the part but copied the dance style as if he were born in to it. We enjoyed the different costumes from the different tribes and never miss an opportunity to eat Indian fry-bread tacos! Yum!
